The EshiMe Story
We have been anime fans all our lives, but we always felt something was missing when it came to anime fashion. Most merch we found was just character prints on a t-shirt. Nothing that really carried the depth, artistry, or the emotions anime gives us.
After years of watching anime and being obsessed with design, we wanted to change that. We didn’t want to just make another “merch” line. We wanted to create pieces that tell a story, that capture the essence of characters and their journeys, and that feel like wearable art instead of just clothes.
How was EshiMe born?
In Japanese, Eshi (絵師) means artist or illustrator, and Me (目) means eye or vision. Put together, EshiMe is “the artist’s eye” — a way of seeing anime through creativity and design.
Our mission is to make anime inspired fashion that connects with people on a deeper level. Something you can wear anywhere, not just at home or at a convention. Clothes that make you feel like you are carrying a part of the story with you.
